Does anyone have any experience using an electric kettle to steam food? I'm trying to think of how to use the little Rival hotpot in my office to cook fresh/frozen gyoza. Just butched a bowl into what fits the kettle enough that I think I can make it into a little steamer basket. Am I nuts? Will this work? Am I better off cooking them up in the morning and eating them cold or nuked later?
*the only other cooking option at my office is a microwave.
