Pistachio Macaron Filling Flavors?
Hi all:
I'm embarking on some macaron baking for a dinner party this weekend, and one of the flavors I've decided to try is pistachio. I'm debating what kind of filling to use--pistachio or vanilla buttercream have both occurred to me, but I'd love to hear any suggestions you all might have. I know that Tartelette has a version with a creme brulee filling, but as the other dessert will be creme brulee, I don't want to get too repetitive.
