Did anyone watch this till the end? The outcome surprised me. The last two contestants, the rock and roll chick and the field mouse - never expected the field mouse to come out on top.

This wasn't the worst competition show I've seen TVFN put on. I'd like to see future incarnations of it improve with more instruction and exactly the same amount of "classy criticism" as this version.

I never, ever want to see either chef/instructor spit into a pan of food as that blowhard Ramsey did. I swear, if this show turns into a hockey fight, my channel surf will never again rest on TVFN - and that's saying something. I was one of those who lobbied my cable company (harangued? nagged? nudged? haunted?) in the early 90's to carry TVFN. I won't even watch the few remaining good shows, i.e. my beloved Ina.

In any case, it could have been a lot worse - I love me some Anne Burrell.
