I'm a big Marco Canora fan. Never made it to Insieme while he was there. For the next week I will be working pretty much across the street and was thinking of having a meal there, either lunch or dinner. Now that he's gone, is it still good?

Josh Ozersky mentioned it as part of his justification for why he thinks midtown is the best dining neighborhood in the city, putting it in a pretty elite group of restaurants. I know he's buddies with Canora, so was wondering if he was just plugging the place and forgot Canora wasn't working there anymore, or if he legitimately recommends it even in it's new Canora-less era.

So, any thoughts? Should I check it out, or not bother?
