So my mom is just weeks away from completing her Ph.D. in biblical studies and we throwing a party at our local pizzeria. I am in charge of all desserts. I want to do a cake table but I'm terrible at frosting and decorating, plus i need to transport all the cakes to the venue. I'm hoping the serious eaters can help me out with some awesome suggestions!
I'm already doing Zoe Nathan's Cranberry Orange Ricotta Cornmeal Cake (barredowl.wordpress.com) because my mom likes it but what else? Mom prefers not too sweet...
