Atomic Wings East Village Location Super Bowl Sunday
I am an avid orderer from the Atomic Wings in the East Village and planned to continue to be one until yesterdays Super Bowl experience. I am all about a place like that having a special menu for such a busy day but what I found online was disgusting. A usually affordable place Atomic Wings launched a Super Bowl menu with JUST the following:
50 Piece Wings at close to $49 (usually $39)
100 Piece Wings at close to $90 (usually $74)
I understand that yesterday was the busiest day of the year for this location but to just offer 50 and 100 pieces at a price $15 over your normal rate is wrong
To compare Dominos on 8th Street only served Large pies and disabled coupons (and the heavily promoted 2 for $5.99 deal they have running) just for the big game
Moral of the story... Super Bowl in NYC from now on means I am cooking
