Anchovies in Pasta Sauce
My nieces recently stayed with me for five days and when they come over I buy them "special foood" because they have odd tastes for little girls: kalamata olives, green olives, sardines, dark chocolate, wasabi peas, pickled anything, artichoke hearts, etc. etc.
My oldest niece is a really big fan of stinky little fish that she loves eating with saltine crackers. She somehow managed to miss a tin of anchovies and instead of mailing them to her (as she suggested), I want to make something out of these salty little things.
I seem to recall a pasta dish that has anchovies in the sauce- or am I going crazy? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If it actually exists, can somone provide a good recipe? I have a well-stocked pantry, so ingredients shouldn't be a problem.
