Pizza at Home
I've decided to follow dmcavanagh's advice from yesterday's thread about what everyone had for dinner. I had really, really bad pizza and frankly, I'm sick of eating bad pizza. It's not a food I get a craving for often, but when it hits I just order from a local place and I'm always disappointed as to how bad it is.
I know I can look up a basic pizza dough recipe online, I'm just hoping for tips from other Serious Eaters. Can making pizza at home be done without a pizza stone? Can it be done with wheat flour (to make it healthier)? Can someone give me tips for working with and making the dough? I'm really horrible with doughs and have rarely been successful in dough-making endeavors.
