Cast iron loaf pan with lid?
I'm looking to make loaf shaped no-knead bread. I don't want to make it in my regular loaf pans because they don't heat the same way, leading to a different crumb and crust. I've seen cast iron loaf pans like this:
But nothing with a lid, which is critical for the recipe.
I've seen Le Cruset Pate Terrine which is close (but too small), and there are a few other small pans that I've come across which are much too small. I have found nothing capable of making a sandwich width and height loaf of rectangular bread in a lidded cast iron pot.
I am indifferent between enameled and non-enameled cast iron.
