Poutine in Los Angeles

The other day I was watching this show with my nieces called Postcards with Buster on PBS. It's a kid show, but frankly, I would watch it by myself if nothing else was on. It beats reality show crap anyday.

Anyhow, in the episode Buster- a cartoon rabbit- visits Montréal, but the cities he visits aren't in animated form. He talks to real people about their culture, their food, and he visits families in the area. It's a great show.

In Montréal Buster eats poutine ... and I can't stop thinking about it. French fries, gravy, and cheese curds? I'm in. The only problem is locating it in the Los Angeles area.

Do any Serious Eaters know where really good poutine can be found in L.A.? I know that it could be found at Animal at some point, but I also know their menu changes pretty regularly. There's always the option of making it myself, but I don't even want to attempt it before tasting a version made by someone who knows what they're doing.

Thanks in advance!
