Goat's Brie? How do you use it?
Hi Eaters,
I picked up a small round of goat's milk brie to serve as an appetizer for a friend who cannot tolerate cow's milk. I've never tried it and wonder how the flavour might differ from cow's milk brie.
How do y'all eat your goat brie? Any different applications that are particularly yummy apart from the normal pepper jelly or fruit compote and baguette or cracker application? I was also thinking of wrapping in puff pastry, then I realized...I don't really know what to do there. As tehre are only three of us for dinner, a whole wheel seems a lot, particularly as an appetizer, and I didn't know if I could wrap a sliced portion of a wheel in puff pastry or if that would just be disastrous.
Thanks for your advice eaters!
