Fresh Tuna Steaks
Fresh Tuna Steaks-
I've got some that I'm preparing for dinner. I'm leaning towards a quick citrus marinade then grill them. My idea is to serve them with olive-artichoke tapenade or a citrus salsa. Rice pilaf or lemony-white wine sauced pasta? Steamed broccoli, Asian slaw or garlicky green beans? My pantry and spices are well stocked. I've got lots of vegetables to choose from (potatoes, onions, shallots, green onions, cabbage, snow peas, radishes, tomatoes, carrots, celery, red peppers, mushrooms, limes, lemons, oranges, parsley, cilantro, jalapenos, fresh thyme, sage and rosemary and lots and lots of condiments, etc.). (Frozen- spinach, peas, corn, green beans) Still fluctuating so any inspiration will help.
What are your favorite ways to prepare them?
What do you serve them with?
And, of course: Do you have a recipe you'd be willing to share?
