I spotted a new program series on the History Channel yesterday and managed to watch the majority (I was flipping between that and Iron Chef America) of the premiere episode on the making of a cheeseburger and fries. It was a lot more in depth than the FNTV show "Unwrapped" and really interesting, surprisingly. I learned a low more about how certain things are made, but frankly, I don't think that the first clips should have been of a cattle farmer being so nonchalant about the treatment and killing of his cattle. I used to be a vegetarian, and about four years ago (happily) began to eat meat again, due to doctor's orders, but that first clip (I was eating beef pot roast at the time) almost put me back into that vegetarian state of mind.
Did anyone else watch it? Waht did you think of it? And if you did see it, were you as put off by that cattle portion as I was?
