Your favorite eats for cards, board games, foozball etc.?
During the winter we play a lot more games inside. Various versions of poker, Uno, Scrabble, Sorry and Monopole. And then there are the more action oriented games such as foozball, air hockey and our latest--ping pong.
Usually we play late afternoons when everyone feels like snacking. I'm more lenient with cards and board games as to what people eat--provided they use napkins (not your pants, Jacob) and keep the games relatively unstained and grease free.
I've had to keep a spray bottle of cleaner and a cloth in the basement for the table games though. The guys don't seem to manage the napkin thing when playing foozball, ping pong and air hockey. I think it's a stuff a something in your mouth quick before you're scored on thing.
We generally have popcorn, nachos, wings, potato chips or soft pretzels (not all at once). I'm thinking I may limit it to soft pretzels for table games. Maybe I just need to relax, after all the boys are 11 and 15.
But really--what do SEaters have for poker night or any kind of game night? Do you differentiate between cards, board games and table games?
