I would like to make a chicken pot pie today using the pastry. Can I just make the good stuff and then just lay the pastry over it? Should it be defrosted first? Egg washed? Does it have any special cooking instructions--as in do I need to cook the other stuff first and they lay the pastry on in the last 15 minutes or so? Thanks people!!
