I'm looking to purchase a meat grinder, and I'm stumped. I'd be happy with a hand-cranked one, but all of the reviews of the manual meat grinders on amazon are TERRIBLE. I don't want to break the bank, but don't want to buy a piece of junk, either! Any suggestions? Just a side-note, I don't have a kitchen aide, so can't just use the meat grinding attachment.

Also, any thoughts on whether you can use a decent food mill to grind meat?
