Best way to make fudge?

This year is the first that I have decided to make fudge. I have checked out lots of recipes and some call for heavy cream, some call for sweetened condensed milk or even evaporated milk. Then there is the marshmallow issue; whole marshmallows, fluff, or none at all. So how do you make your fudge? And if you are feeling generous I would love recipes. Thanks so much.
