Thanksgiving in NYC
Last Thanksgiving I had a huge kitchen in a big house, made every item from scratch and baked them in a big oven, and washed things in a dishwasher. This is our first Thanksgiving in New York City, and we have a kitchen the size of a postage stamp. Do people really cook a whole turkey and sides in these tiny ovens? Or do they get pre-made things and reheat? I'm responsible to feed four adults with simple palates; any suggestions of where to purchase a good turkey breast to roast? Or good pre-made sides? We're at Columbia in student housing. I'm thinking Westside or Fairway. Any suggestions?
