Should I brine a preinjected bird?

I just bought a 12 lb Safeway bird, and I'm not sure how to cook it! I know everyone's talking about the benefits of brining, but my bird was already injected with an "approximately eight percent salt solution." Should I still brine this? or reduce the salt in the brine? or just skip it all together.
