shipping meat pies

i am making our usual french meat pies again. i need to send one to florida and one to alaska. i've never shipped food before and i don't know if i should assemble them and freeze, they can cook them when wanted or should i cook them then freeze so they can just reheat. any advise you have will deeply appreciated.
