Great take out from Dinosaur BBQ, Harlem...

Posted by gutreactions, November 9, 2009

Coming down from Westchester to visit my kids on the UES this past weekend we surprised them with a 'Deluxe Family Stylin' Package' from Dinosaur BBQ: 1 whole BBQ chicken, 1 full rack of ribs, 1 lb. BBQ pork or brisket (we opted for the brisket), 3 pints of homemade sides (we chose their baked beans with pork, cole slaw and special Creole corn), a platter of honey hush cornbread, and a bottle of their tangy BBQ sauce. The feast came out to under $60. with tax and tip; there was hardly a wait; it was packaged very well and held up fine during our delivery to the East Side.
We were 4 people and there were leftovers even after two hefty courses each. It turned out to be a terrific deal and we just wanted to share with Serious Eaters...
Personally, I believe Dinosaur is one of the best BBQ venues in town...What do you think?
