What's for dinner tonight - 10/5?
Tonight I think I will use up some roast chicken by tossing it with sesame oil and sriracha sauce and putting it on top of some baby arugula. I might also add some soba noodles and steamed cauliflower to the mix.

Well, I made Spaghetti & Meatballs on Saturday...with help from the Real Chiffonade for the wonderful meatball recipe. So tonight I think a homemade Meatball Sub is in order!
(Oh, and probably some antacid too AuntJone!)

Dining hall-chicken fajitas, just hoping the meat is not nasty. We volunteered at Paul Newman's Camp Hole in the Wall Gang today. It was great to see all of his products in the refrigerators there instead of the crap and bug juice we had at camps.
I wish I was having the new pumpkin chili recipe or black bean soup but too tired. There is always tomorrow.

We will be dining on the default meal, which is cheeseburgers, a favorite of mine, with french fries, cottage cheese and peas. Raspberry, or apricot thumb-print cookies for dessert. Most likely one of each. I have to see if they are still as good as when I made them Saturday, right??

It is finally cooling down here in Southern California, so I'm getting in the mood for "Fall" food. I'm making pumpkin black bean chili, but substituting fresh steamed kabocha squash for the pumpkin.
