Trader Joes Petition - Middletown NJ/Monmouth County NJ
I would like to start a "bring Trader Joe's to Middletown NJ/Monmouth County NJ" petition. Does anyone have any idea how someone would start such a petition or does anyone know who I can contact to do so?
Thanks a lot and if you are with me please respond and show some support.
Trader Joes fan!

You do know that the Trader Joe's in Princeton is now open? It's right on Rt. 1 Northbound, sort of across from Whole Foods. I'll have to drive over from Bucks Cty, but that's easier than going to Jenkintown!

Oh I heard that was open. Still a little far. I am just being greedy and would love one really close to my home. Right now I drive to Westfield and/or Florham Park.

I've lived in the Westfield, NJ area most of my life. I have been well aware of Trader Joe's since it opened, and even shop here on rare occasion. However, I don't understand why people rave about this place. Nearly all of their products are processed, packaged, and/or frozen. Their baked goods are terrible, and the produce section is miniscule.
If you take away the cheap wine, nuts, and trail mix snacks, what do they have that you can't get at your local ethnic grocery store, produce market, or butcher?

They make precise demographical decisions. Call them.

@salpico - I couldn't agree more. It is cheap though and although they carry mostly processed foods, for the most part these products contain fewer chemicals and preservatives than processed foods at a conventional supermarket.

@salpico - I totally agree. I can't for the life of me understand why people make such a big deal.
