Top Chef & Iron Chef
Earlier tonight I caught an episode of Iron Chef America from 2006; Mario Batali was battling former Top Chef finalist Richard Blais whose sous chef was current Top Chef contestant Eli.
The other day, I saw former Top Chef contestant Mark Simmons performing as the sous chef for someone on Iron Chef. Is this weird to anyone else? There have to be more chefs in the world than those who've already been on television. It makes me wonder how Top Chef screens or gathers their contestants.
