Stawberries + Crème Fraîche = Me looking for recipe ideas

I've got a thing of crème fraîche and a carton of strawberries in my fridge. I'm compelled to combine the two into something amazing.
I did a search of recipes on epicurious but didn't find anything that "wowed" me. So do any of you SeriousEaters know of a good recipe?

I love creme fraiche so much all by itself I would probably just make strawberries Romanoff (or use some other nice liqueur) and dip them in it, or whip the creme fraiche a bit til fluffy and fold the booze, some chopped candied ginger and the chopped strawberries that have been left to set a bit in some sugar. Sort of a fool or syllabub type dessert. Simple and fresh.

Whatever you do will be yummy I am sure!

Spoon into a meringue ring - individual ones or huge one. Has big wow factor, and is very easy.

If you have an ice cream maker I would make some strawberry-creme fraiche ice cream/gelato. I had some creme fraiche gelato over the summer in D.C. and it was heaven. Random, I know, since you probably don't have an ice cream maker but for anyone who does, creme fraiche is a fantastic and elegant flavor.

I really like the ice cream idea. That sounds great. Thanks @LizLemon. Maybe I can try a makeshift ice cream maker, since I don't have a real one.

@sadispix, the romanoff idea sounds tasty. I bet my mother would really enjoy that one.

Thanks for the ideas everyone!
