Southampton IPA acting up
I bought this six pack of Southampton IPA and everytime I open one it fizzles up and I lose 1/3 of it. So, three questions.
Is it because I'm storing it horizontally? (I always store beer like that and it never happened before!)
Is there a way of stopping the beer from foaming up?
How should I use the beer for cooking? Bread? Chili? I just saw a beef and dark beer chili recipe here, can that be done with turkey?
Thanks in advance!

Gushing can be from old beer or if it's stored too cold. Could also be from contamination, or just faulty brewing (e.g., overcarbonation).

Only time I've seen that happen is when the beer is too cold, you pop the top, ice forms in the beer and foam starts to pour out.

hum, definitely not too cold. Just regular refrigeration, along with everything else in my fridge. I'll check the other alternatives.
