I bought this six pack of Southampton IPA and everytime I open one it fizzles up and I lose 1/3 of it. So, three questions.

Is it because I'm storing it horizontally? (I always store beer like that and it never happened before!)

Is there a way of stopping the beer from foaming up?

How should I use the beer for cooking? Bread? Chili? I just saw a beef and dark beer chili recipe here, can that be done with turkey?
