Just wanted to share a newly discovered treat (though probably not new for some of you). Whole Foods sells a yogurt called Siggi's Icelandic Style Skyr (I picked up th pomegranate & passion fruit flavor), which is esssentialy strained non-fat yogurt. The texture is a little heartier then fage and the agave sweetener takes just the right amount of edge off the tartness.
You may recall seeing an episode of Andrew Zimmern's show in which he travelled to Iceland to explore skyr making with a local family. I was intrigued then (though their version was a little more "rustic" for sure), and am happy I've had my first taste of skyr.
