Old posts disappearing?

For the last week or two I've been having problems trying to access older posts on the site. Usually I check in a few times a week and click "Older" until I've caught up to the last things I'd read, but for some reason the archive pages don't seem to be functioning correctly. The first three pages are fine (up to http://www.seriouseats.com/index3.html), but the fourth page reverts to posts made back on September 30th (http://www.seriouseats.com/index4.html). I noticed that the used Sigilum also seemed to be having this issue some time ago.

The posts still exist, from what I can discern; they just can't be accessed easily (i.e., you have to do a search to find them, which doesn't help when you haven't read them in the first place)

Thanks in advance for any help!

(and yes, I realize that the easiest solution is simply to check serious eats everyday. I do my best! Sometimes life gets in the way.)
