Now for late night fun i would head to Bobos Smoked Fried chicken with honey. Its very very good.
Juniors is really good, table side ceasers and a 60's steakhouse vibe, the the bottom of the Oil Center.
Also, really for an old Oklahoma City experience, Jamils steakhouse is very nice. Not that expensive, and you got TONS of delicious free apps. its on lincoln by the capital.
Good Vietnamese on Classen too.

Cafe 501 in Edmond is good, in addition to the ones already mentioned. I also make SURE to eat at Chelino's for the true Tex Mex experience.

You're kidding, right? We are sitting smack dab in the gastronomical wasteland. Well, maybe you could drive to Tulsa and find something. If not, these might do: Nonna's, Pearl's (still miss the original!), Gopurum, Sushi Neko, VZD's, Redrock Canyon, and it may not look like much, but Chuck House has killer chicken fried steak.
However, after eating on both coasts and Santa Fe and New Orleans, I have to reiterate that OKC is barren when it comes to anything in the following categories: original, healthy, and/or gourmet esp. that doesn't cost a fortune. Most people here tend to eat at chain restaurants or fast food, of which we have a plethera. I just returned from Portland, OR where you can find ALL KINDS of wonderful cafes and eateries that are locally owned and reasonably priced, with amazing, creatively prepared food. Why must it be so homogenized here in the Heartland???
Okay, off the soap box. Thanks for listening. Good luck.

I think the array of ethnic food way south of I-40 is pretty great, and all the Vietnamese on classen is good (we have the only Lee's Sandwich outside of california and houston). Med. Deli has great middle eastern food. Oklahoma City is varied in population including lots of lebonese and vietnamese, much more so than tulsa. You just have to hunt around! Be proud of your city!
