I'm also having the exact same issue.

Me too. But now I know enough to simply log out and log in again every time I come to the site, and it's not quite as frustrating. Finding myself with more than one comment ready to go that I couldn't post was great motivation to learn.

Same issue. Ya gotta log out and then back in whenever you come to the site.

McD, Cheetah, Avaryne & LemonFair - You should not still be logged out very often - we'll follow up tomorrow. Thanks - David (from Six Apart & Serious Eats).

Same issue.

I seem to have to relog on whenever I want to comment...

david - it says we're logged in when we come to the site, but treats us like we're logged out, so we have to log out before we can log in.

yeah, this is crazy. I'm having trouble commenting. I'm going through comment withdrawal!

i have the same problem, but if i hit the refresh button, i can comment (i have firefox)

Hey everybody. We're sorry for the confusion! We were working out some final kinks on the Serious Eats servers related to cookies, so it resulted in the behavior that @CJMcD described. If you have any difficulties from here on out, we recommend that you flush your cookies (http://bit.ly/14nO3K has some helpful instructions how to do that) and refresh the page and please try again.

We love Serious Eats, so please keep commenting! (and eating!)

UUGGGHHH!!!!!
Will always come back: but, SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!
