Baked Doughnut Recipes?
A couple weeks ago I came across a great-looking recipe for baked pumpkin doughnuts. After an endless amount of Google and favorite blog searches, I can't find it. Oh, the humanity.
I'm hoping the SE community can help me so all hope is not lost. Anyone out there know of any great baked doughnut recipes? Pumpkin or not, share what you know!

I use the recipe at King Arthur Flour for the most part. Exclude the spices and add vanilla for vanilla donuts, etc. Hope to try out their coconut doughnut recipe soon. Sorry, haven't seen a pumpkin doughnut recipe.

I use King Arthur Flour's as well, since it came with their miniature baked donut pan. I find the recipe is just a little dry, so I add another T oil to it, and am very careful not to overcook it. But I'm not sure why you couldn't use any cake donut recipe.

I always thought doughnuts had to be fried. I'm so glad you posted about this! I now know what I'm going to bake this weekend....

I ended up making a pumpkin doughnut using a fried doughnut recipe from Bon Appetit (http://tinyurl.com/ybmd6fc) with a maple glaze. They were pretty delicious, but certainly not like a fried doughnut.
I'll probably give the King Arthur Flour recipe a try next... or go down the chocolate path.
