Yule Log/Buche de Noel Recipe
I'm searching for a good yule log/buche de noel recipe, but with a couple of requirements...
1. There should be alcohol in it.
2. There should be Oreo cookie crumbs involved.
I'd greatly appreciate any help you can provide!

I do not have a recipe, but I bet you could find one fitting requirement #1 (like this one) and then decorate it with anything you want, including oreo crumbs.
You could cover the serving dish with oreo crumbs to look like soil and sift confectioner's sugar over that to make it look like a light dusting of snow, then place the cake on top.

Why not just make your basic Yule log and add alcohol (I suggest rum or Kahlua) to the filling and mix oreo crumbs into your frosting?

I have made a buche de Noel using the recipe in the Larousse Gastronomique and it turned out beautifully. As for the alcohol and oreo requirement, why don't you do something creative like using rum filled chocolate bonbons as mushroom caps or use regular meringue mushrooms, paint their top with a little rum and sprinkle oreo crumbs on as dirt? Or you could mix crumbs into the frosting to make a more textured "bark". Or just add alcohol to the frosting - that would also be good.

I've never had or even seen a buche de noel, but one of my favorite ice cream flavors is coffee oreo, so I can imagine that kahlua buttercream mixed with orea crumbs would be great. alcohol on its own would get soggy.
