Your Fast Food Urge.....just had mine...tasty.

Yes, I ordered a Two Cheeseburger Meal at McD's but asked for no cheese, and it was just as tasty as I remember! Has anybody else recently fulfilled a fast food urge!??

40 Comments:

2 plain biscuits, hash brown and sweet tea at McD's just this morning. But only one biscuit was for me, the other was for my dog.

Yeah, went to Five Guys and had a hamburger on Monday. Salty, but tasty. We go to Sonic several times a week to get our cherry limeade fix.

haha yehhh.. i got in the habit of ordering some McD's burgers when in the company of siblings, after long refusing it. I always want milkshakes, though. always. Sometimes the novelty of the junk is desirable.

I havent had a major craving in a couple weeks now, though.

Yup, Whataburger No. 1 W/ cheese and Jalapenos for dinner. Always indulge when my husband is out of town and kids are school/working. Mom's time! :0

@Cassaendra, oh yes! Those cherry limeades are incredible. :)

Oh, Sonic. Jalapeno cheeseburger, tater tots and a strawberry limeade!

My latest thing: McD's Double Quarter Pounder (beacuse there's no fresh vegies) without cheese. I take it home, deconstruct it for the oven to properly toast the buns and de-grease the meat and add slices of avocado, then re-stack and gorge!

McD's is the only fast food i will actually crave. when i want a cheeseburger, nothing will work but one from the golden arches. it is rare but it does happen. that and I love their sweeet tea.

There seem to be a lot of McDonalds cravings. I actually LOVE Carls Jr., which is why I try to stay away from it. I think I eat it about twice a year. There's something about their Western Burgers: onion rings, BBQ sauce, and cheese on the same burger- DELICIOUS. I think it's called Hardee's in the south. My boyfriend never wants to eat it, he gets Krystal's urges when we spend time together in Alabama.

Somehow I keep finding myself sitting down to a quesadilla (homemade). That and tomato sandwiches, á la Harriet M. Welsch.

Every now and then I get an urge for a Double Whopper with Cheese (hold the lettuce and onion) from Burger King. The last time I had one was in April though, before I left for a flight to Italy out of New York. In New York, they make them post the calories for the meals. The number of calories in a Double Whopper was...upsetting.

About every six months I get a Big Mac Attack, and nothing else will satisfy the craving. I invent some errand to run, sneak through the drive-through and park under a shady tree on a side street and indulge. It's deliciously naughty to love those things.

@juliebugs: that made me smile really big. how funny, like it's shameful.

I actually do enjoy sonic (esp. onion rings) and i love wendys. i just think their stuff is just good.

i fulfill my fast food urge when i go down to jersey to visit the parents. i get 2 or 3 fresco tacos at taco bell...for some reason it just tastes really good down there and the ingredients (even the tomatoes!) taste really good. i know its not real mexican or whatnot (i

Mmm...nothing better right now than mashed potatoes and gravy from KFC

Two sausage McMuffins, no egg, and two hash browns. That's good gluttony. But maybe twice a year at most.

Wendy's has the Jr. cheeseburger deluxe and the Jr. bacon cheeseburger...sometimes I get one of each :) Hits the spot, mmmm.

Gosh I hate to admit this: my gym is across the street from a Wingstop and I swear I can smell it when I walk out the door. About once a month I am overwhelmed and dragged in the door by my lack of self control to order the original hot wings and their phenomenal fries. I am so ashamed.

My current (pregnant) craving is a Panerra Spinach and Artichoke souffle with 1/2 a blueberry muffin. I've been eating it once a week for the past 2 months!

20 piece chicken mcnuggets from McDs.

We had a 17 hour drive from the OBX in NC to Indy, so we hit a Burger King near the tail end of VA, then a KFC in Kentucky (haha), and fountain sodas and cheetos and almond m&m's and starbucks during other pit stops. We wanted to take the dogs to the family reunion otherwise we would have flown.

@terabithia: That reminds me of my takoyaki adventure in Okinawa. I ate an entire box of takoyaki (got car sick) and I've never been able to eat takoyaki or McNuggets again. I've also never hogged an entire of box of anything again either.

@terabithia thanks alot, now you have managed to add the nuggets to the collection kiss kiss lol. I always have these urges for these foods and yes I have to get it otherwise it will nag me every waking hour.

McDonald's is my weakness...cheeseburger, nuggets, FRIES. Love it. Or when I'm in Maryland, CHICKFILA

About once every 60 days I have to go buy a 1 1/4 thick ribeye rub it down with olive oil, black pepper, minced garlic, and kosher salt. Sit it off to the side while the grill gets at least to 550 degrees. Sear that bad boy for 30 seconds on each side and then throw the bloody hunk of meat on a plate all by itself.

Cut it. Fork it. Eat it.

dang it... I gotta go to the store right now.

No In n Out? Really? Hello, hangover food.

Yesterday I gave into a craving for a seafood salad sub from Jreck's. The contrast between the sweetness of the seafood and the spicy cherry pepper relish was sublime.

Don't know if it qualifies as fast food (certainly quick counter service), but Qdoba was screaming my name yesterday at lunch. Abandoned the leftovers for a fantastic chicken burrito w/black beans, corn chile salsa, guacamole and cheese.

I crave In n Out fries on multiple ocassions, sometimes I go just for the fries.

Anyone been to Nando's? I think it's a chain in Australia, omg the fries (aka "chips") there are sooooo good, especially with extra peri-peri seasoning. Crunchy fried bite with pillowy soft potato center.

Every few weeks, I get a sudden unexplainable craving for McD's 20 piece chicken nuggets with sweet n' sour. I proceed to eat the shell off before I can eat the salty sponge within. Takes a loooong time, but it's so much more enjoyable this way!

McD's cheeseburger Happy Meal .. just the right amount of food for me.

head hung in shame, I had Arby's the other day.. two Beef & Cheddars. Every time I go there (which is not often at all), I can't help but here the twins from the Simpson's... "I'm so hungry I could eat at Arbys!!"

Donuts!!!!!
Jelly donuts from Dunkin donuts
or Krispie Kremes freshly made (none of that shipped to a grocery store stuff).

is it just me or did no one say carl's jr?!! OMGGGAAAH hi western bacon cheeseburger with natural fries and onion rings with extrrrra bbq sauce. oh and dont forget the milkshakes!!! =]

that and kfc ahha nommmm

If I'm sick, the only thing that will cure me is a McDonald's Cheeseburger happy meal with orange Hi-C. It's weird, but it works.

In N Out animal-style fries, well-done.

Crispy, thin potato strips. . .in a red/white, grease-spotted paper basket. . .topped with a big dollop of sweet, tangy Thousand Island. . .a stash of deeply-caramelized diced onions. . .and laced throughout with a luscious web of melted American cheese.

"Well-done" is key.

No much - only craving is a Mustard Jr. Whopper, usually after a few beers.

Every once in a while I just have to have Nachos Supreme from Taco Bell (they aren't as good ever since the green onion scare, though) and a #1 combo with cheese from Krystal.

I'd kill right now for 2 Egg Mcmuffins with sausage...maybe three, since I won't have them again for another 4 years.

Just went to Wendy's and had an order of chicken nuggets...so bad for you, yet so good.
