What's up with my precious Serious Eats account?
I would consider myself pretty tech-savvy.
I've been ready to throw my MacBook out the window lately though.
I've noticed recent integration of account interactivity: and this is awesome. But I wish my account wouldn't continue signing out on me. Its a pain in the butt and has been keeping me from my inspiration!
- refreshing my browser sometimes fixes this; within a short timespan
- clearing my cache is like starting from scratch
- attempting to contact site admin brings bounce backs on my end (perhaps as a non US IP address?)
Any suggestions would be delicous, thanks!

I have to sign in every time I come to the site as well and it usually takes two times to actually get logged in. They know they're still having these problems and will work them out soon!

It could be my work-email preferences but it's no good.

The logging in problem has stopped for me ... now I can't "favorite" anything. The "favorite this" doesn't turn into a hyperlink when I put my cursor on it. ugh.

@alaina: Oh my I didn't see those steps- *embarassed* . I'm on a mac platform. I will restart my browser, clear my cache/cookies and I'll BE BACK!!!!

I took your suggested steps and it appears to remember me now when I open topics/articles in new tabs :D (this was what was the biggest pain originally)
I'm satisfied for now :) good luck with kinks and bugs...I hate'm but they're part of developing life I guess. Thank you muchly alaina

Aha! Is that what's been going on. Yes, I've been finding myself logged out lately and unable to log back in without closing the browser and re-opening. I just had to reset my password because I had forgotten it.

i think we've all been having this problem. i was used to being continously signed in.... now i've got to sign in twice, also.....

I'm having the same problem as well. I can log in, and if I'm clicking around on the site, it's all fine. But if I go away and do something else, I come back and I'm logged out. I don't know what the timeout period is, all I know is that I keep having to log back in when I want to comment. I can understand a secure site logging me out after being inactive, but having to log back in to SE repeatedly is a pain, particularly when I have just a few minutes in between other things to make a comment.
I've cleared my cookies and my browser cache, which solved the problem of not being able to log in at all. I really don't want to have to clear ALL my cookies again because that resets other sites as well. Any other suggestions?
