What was that cocktail Don Draper made?
In the other night's episode of Mad Men, Draper was behind the bar making a very impressive-looking cocktail. He tosses a sugar cube in a glass, adds a few dashes of bitters, and tops it off with some rye and maybe club soda.
I've been racking my brain to remember the name of the drink but I can't put my finger on it. Anyone know what it is?

Isn't that an Old Fashioned?

It was an old fashioned. He used rye because the bar wasn't stocked with bourbon, which the recipe calls for. He made it for himself and "Connie" from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Connie, I believe will turn out to be Conrad Hilton. And a new account for Don!~

Conrad Hilton! That is so interesting; I never would have thought that.

And rewatching the show, for accuracy sake, it was SAN ANTONIO, New Mexico, not Santa Fe.
