What to do with left-over ribs?

My first thought it to pull the meat, warm it up with BBQ sauce, and make sandwiches...any other ideas?

Make tacos or burritos with the meat. Add to baked beans.

I freeze them and bring them out later like I did today.

The idea of leftover ribs is inconceivable to me! You just sit there and eat until they're gone... end of thread ;~D

Scrapple- make stock of bones and meat add corn meal,S&P ,sage , refridg, slice, fry, eat. MMMMMM-pass maple syrup.

Pull the meat, use the bones to make stock, and make a bean soup.

Or...if you want to experiment, why not try a warm meat and potato salad? Warm cubes of boiled potatoes mixed with rib meat, mayo, spicy mustard, and finely chopped onions, celery and pickles. Maybe even some chopped hard-boiled egg.

What's a leftover rib?

Last time this happened I pulled the meat and used it and some leftover sauce for a bbq pork 'pizza' with carmelized onions, roasted garlic, corn kernels (also left over from the bbq), and red peppers. Was delish!

what czken and shoneyjoe said........

I took the meat off the bones and used it for tamale filling - delish! You can do a pie crust and make "hand pies" or do empanadas...The pizza idea sounds great.

Pork ribs do not make great "stock." it winds up tasting like spare rib soup and doesn't come anywhere near chix or beef stock.

Make a hash. De-bone, cube the meat, and them cook up with oils and potatoes.

Sorry, haven't had my caffeine fix this morning:

The sentence should end this way: "and then cook up with onions and potatoes."

Or you can make a really rich pasta sauce with the meat and some marinara.

leftover ribs? I fell off my unicorn laughing at that one.

@juliebugsmama, you just made my day... each one deserves at least one broad smile.
If ever my neighbor knocks on my door offering me their leftover ribs, I'd thank them graciously and surely look back on this thread and do my best to recreate @BananaMonkey's pizza. That does sound wonderful although I'd leave the corn on the cob and reheat it to be eaten on the side with some garlic butter spread over it. I can't decide here on beer or red wine. What do you think?

Brunswick stew!!!!

If you're talking about bbq pork ribs, I eat them, cold, the next day for lunch when no one's looking.

Make stock for a delicious start to a pot of classic french onion soup.

@czken--the b/f was a little weirded by the corn too, but it was dry roasted on the grlil and leftover a day--so not totally ideal for re-heating. I thought the crunch and sweetness would work like pineapple does on a hawaiian pizza.

i liked it and his verdict was 'part of me thinks it's great, and part of me thinks it's corn on pizza, and that's not right'
