NFL City's Foods

Me and my friends are going to start cooking foods from the opposing NFL team's city this year when we get together for games. What foods are your NFL city best known for?

11 Comments:

Tampa: Cuban sandwich, grouper sandwich or fried grouper sushi roll, paella, and stone crabs.

Buffalo: Beek on kimmelweck with horseradish; wings; tailgating a full menu, from appetizer to dessert on a grill...

Um...that is BEEF on 'weck, rather than "beek"--my bad.

Rams.....pork steaks.....toasted ravioli........ice cold Budweiser

Steelers: Six cakes shaped like Vince Lombardi trophies....and maybe some pierogies and hot sausage sandwiches.

Browns: I suppose pierogies, sauerkraut, and kielbasa...or ribs. Beer from Great Lakes Brewery.

This isn't famous here, but as a tongue in cheek dessert -- brownies. :P

Not that it's not obvious, but you need a cheesesteak when you're watching the eagles.

Detroit: Though there are some arguments made against it from those in southern Ohio (I'm talking to you Cincinnati), you can't really go wrong with a good ole' coney dog with a Vernors.

Square pizza and paczki (if you have the inkling to make some) would also be acceptable.

Packers: Brats cooked in beer.

Falcons: BBQ & sweet tea
