Favorite vendors at the Italian Feasts?

It's early September, and Bensonhurst-ites (Bensonhurstians?) all know its time for the Santa Rosalia Feast on 18th avenue. My family used to have a tradition of walking the feast and picking up sausage and peppers sandwiches and zeppoles.
For sausage and peppers, always go to Lucy's. My mom's best friend knew Lucy and would look specifically for the stand she was working (she had a few satellite stands along the strip). For zeppoles, we didn't have a go-to. That turned out to be hit-or-miss.

Any fave vendors?

At the Italian feasts, I've never had a bad sausage and pepper hero! The smell alone is amazing!

roasted chichi's (chickpeas)..... an oldtime favorite....

Uh yeah, pretty much ANYTHING...those feasts are food orgies.

I went to the Feast of St. Rocco last month in my hometown of Malden (about 4 miles north of Boston) and had the best grilled braciole. It's easier to make than the traditional oven braciole and I think may be even better.
If you want to bring a little of the feast food home with you, here's the recipe on my blog:

@mmicheli -- I lived in Malden for years up until 5 years ago!!! (on Salem Street, and then later on Harris street) God, I miss it and Boston and all things NE. There are NO Italian feasts that I know of down here in Atlanta, where I'm living now.
