Do It Yourself: aged beef

I HAVE NOT tried this yet but I am going to give it a try very soon. I found this on 'askthemeatman.com'. Sounds like it would work but this whole... let meat rot in you fridge and then eat it thing kind of worries me. I guess worst case is after I eat it I get a couple days off work.

Has anyone tried to age meat at home? If yes, how did you do it?
What would you do different.
