Boiled Peanuts: 6 hours of idol hands :)
It's about that time again. One weekend a year I boil peanuts all day and all night to stock up... kind of like a squirrel. Since each batch takes about 6 hours or so, I have a lot of spare time. Normally I just drink beer till I can barely stand... this year I would like to try something different. Any ideas... long haul recipes?

Have you tried using a pressure cooker to boil your peanuts? My mother does this and it really cuts down on the time and yields the same yummy product.
