Best Challah in the city?

I'm wondering who has the best loaf of challah in the city. I'm hosting a Rosh Hashanah dinner on Saturday and I'd like to have a really delicious loaf on hand. Any suggestions?

Blue Ribbon Market has great, great challah.

When I think Jewish market, I think Zabar's. I've never had their challah, but their coffee cake is amazing.

Fairway has a lot of selections as well.

just saw this, but the very best challah is in brooklyn -- borough park or williamsburg.

I know it's too late for Rosh Hashanah, but perhaps for Yom Kippur -- check out Bruce's on 57th St. and 1st Ave. Best challah I've had in the city without a doubt.

thanks! My aunt ended up bringing a challah from Brooklyn, but it wasn't anything special. I'll try Bruce's for Yom Kippur.

You can also order delicious challahs online at http://challahnmore.com.
They will deliver anywhere in the united states. It is baked and shipped from Monsey so you'll get it in NYC the next day.

thanks for shilling here on our board, but I think I'll opt for no delivery charge by visiting an actual store in my lovely city that is brimming with challah.
