Where can I buy Stumptown or Blue Bottle beans?
I am looking for Stumptown, Blue Bottle or similar fancy coffee beans. I am going to visit my girlfriends family in Sweden and want to bring them treats from the US. I can't find the beans anywhere... I live near the East Village and work in Midtown. I need to get them by Friday! Thanks for your help!

Call Stumptown in Portland OR and ask for a referral to which cafes or retail establishments in NYC sell their beans. Their Brooklyn roastery officially opened a few weeks ago and I believe they have in excess of 20 wholesale accounts in NYC. I'm sure at least a few of those have beans for sale by the pound. 503-230-7797

The Sit and Wonder cafe in Prospect Heights (688 Washington Avenue
btw St Marks Ave & Prospect Pl; 718-622-0299) sells Stumptown beans.

Get Fresh Market and Trois Pommes Bakery in Park Slope both sell Stumptown beans. Should be pretty easy. When you figure out Blue Bottle, you let us know. :)

FYI - in manhattan City Girl Cafe at 63 Thompson has beans.
