What is your "style" of cooking?

It was brought to my attention recently that I tend to cook in a certain style. To be honest… I had no idea I did this. I was talking with one of my best friends on the phone… he asked what I made for dinner last night and I told him. As soon as I did he said, “yep that sounds like you.” I was kind of caught off guard from that because I have never really thought of it that way.

SO… apparently ... I am a braising, slow cooking, grilling, inventive fool.

What are you “known” for?

delicious? =P

Southern style comfort food is what I do best

fresh, clean, fast, raw, grill

:)

All depends on the mood. One day I can be a suave gourmet chef the next an old fashioned Norman Rockwell grandmother.

Grillaholic, specializing in all things grilled and spicy.

Also if theres not a bunch of onion in the dish, I probably didnt cook it.

Simple, vibrant (I like fresh herbs and citrus) and healthy (meaning, real butter not margarine)

I tend to be repetetive in my ingredient choices; but I can utilize them in many creative manners :)

Weird. But usually delicious.

Year round grilling (unless it's below zero without the windchill added in) and fresh, seasonal ingredients.

red neck, ain't nuthin better than a dead animal and fire.

Produce, and more fresh produce, baking, stews, fly by the seat of my pants, (ie NO Recipes!)

usually healthy, globally-influenced deliciousness

My style of cooking is a toss up - one night it could be some ole Andrew Zimmerman Bizarre food special and the next night it can scrumptiously good (you never know)
