Pepsi Throwback and Sugar Cola

1. I have been told and read that Pepsi Throwback will not be available after summer. Publix manager says it is only a summer product. Is this true?

2. What other "colas" made with sugar, (not too much sugar), exist in "paradise", (Naples, FL), and can be had at a reasonable price?

3. A local Latin grocery did have Pepsi with sugar, produced in Honduras. It was in a 12 oz glass bottle, sold for $1.15. Is there a difference between this and Throwback?

I prefer Coke to Pepsi myself, and I really enjoy the Coke from Mexico that I buy at the market in Mexicantown here in Detroit. It is made with sugar, not HFCS. I never heard of Pepsi Throwback, is it something new, or regional?

I'm slightly obsessed with Pepsi Throwback. From what I understand it was a limited time only promotional thing starting back in April and ending in June. It's already gone here (NJ), thankfully we've got a couple of cases squirreled away. Hopefully the stash will last until the return of kosher Coke, which has real sugar instead of HFCS too.

I haven't been able to find Throwback of the coke made with sugar anywhere in my area. Whole Foods has it's brand of cola make with sugar but that's all I can find... :(

Your question prompted me to google out of curiousity. I have lots of local fruit-based sugared sodas available locally, but I haven't seen a cola.

I found this interesting company which lists a sugar cola and it appears to be available from Amazon, but I didn't pursue that. They also sell traditional birch beer, which is my very favorite from my childhood. When authentic it's made from the bark of the yellow birch, I believe. Don't know if this is.

imagine soda made with sugar and not HFCS is on the endangered species list!

I've seen the Boylan sodas at my local gourmet-type fruit market but I haven't tried them yet.
