Making Tarts/Quiches in a Springform Pan
I was given a springform pan by my aunt paring down her kitchen cabinets. I know that springform pans are used for making cheesecakes, or when a cake may be difficult to remove from a container. However, a tart pan is just a short, crimped springform pan, and as such it is possible to make a tart in it. My question is: will the different size of pan change the cooking time or oven temperature required, or affect the cooking method in any other way?
