growing arugala

http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/gardening/if-you-grow-just-one-thing-this-spring-plant-arugula-051409

Check this out. If you are tired of boring salad greens or paying high prices at the supermarket this really works. I planted part of a packet of seed in a container similar to the one shown. We are enjoying enough arugala for two on a daily basis. Next year I will start earlier and plant two containers. It really is wonderful.

Sigh -- another summer 1/2 over and I still have not planted a darn thing. Procrastination is my middle name. Is it too late to begin a small container garden? This looks wonderful.

give it a try. it will take several weeks to be ready to harvest. However by that time the weather in many areas will be cooling down and that means it will grow better, As a bonus I am finding that it regrows from the trimmed plants right in the container so there is an endless supply of sorts. Good luck !!
