French Onion Soup
The soup topic got me thinking about soup; specifically, french onion. I want to like french onion soup. I really, really do. But every bowl I've had has been unsatisfactory -- too salty, under-flavored, or institutional. Does anyone have a really killer french onion soup recipe to share? I know it's not soup weather yet, but that time of year isn't all that far away . . .
