advanced cake decorating books

Are any serious eaters out there that are also cake decorators? I'm talking about fully blown wedding or sculpted cakes with gumpaste, fondant, the works. I've been researching all of the different books out there, reading all of the reviews on Amazon, etc, but I'm just not 100% sold on what books to invest in. Do you have any personal recommendations? Do you have a go to reference book? I have Toba Garrett and Elisa Strauss books from my time in pastry school but I'm looking for more.

Are you looking for ideas, how-tos, or both?

i like cakewalk by margaret braun.
lots of good piping advice.

I used to own my own business designing showcase birthday and wedding cakes. I have to admit the best reference book I have is from Wilton, the manufacturer of cake decorating supplies. (Funny -- I never used their products, I used commercial-grade supplies.) This book covers all the basic patterns and tools. Of course, the best way to learn is though practice. Also check out my site for some photos of cakes with fondant and gumpaste. Email me and I'd be happy to coach you!

@ betteirene, I was looking for both if that was possible. I know the basics like gumpaste roses, etc but I wanted the next step
@ andshewas, she knows her stuff! It's very ornate and detailed. Thanks for the suggestion
@ lauracarmen, funny, I've seen a ton of Wilton books but never that one. I'll check it out. I usually cruise that website for ideas but if I don't have something particular in mind, I could spend hours mindlessly browsing. Thanks for the coaching offer. :) I might take you up on that as I dive in.
