I somehow end up gifted with food each time I visit my family. Sometimes it's delicious, crumbly kourambiedes (butter cookies) from my yia yia (g-ma) in old peanut butter jars. Other times it's smooth, creamy Greek feta floating in brine in old pickle jars. This time it was a 3 lb bag of Kirkland raw almonds from Costco.
I have some ideas - candied almonds, curried almonds, monster trail mix. But beyond the basics, I'm stumped.
Any idea would be greatly appreciated. I'm adventurous, enjoy lots of cuisine. And I can figure my way around a kitchen.
